Antoinette Voûte Roeder

Antoinette Voute RoederMy roots are Christian but my branches are many.  I welcome Spirit wherever I find Her.  I am familiar with the Enneagram, Theological Worlds, Myers-Briggs and dream work.

My degrees are in music and I cannot remember a time when I did not do deep listening:  listening for what is there, also for what is left unspoken.  Music was my first God-language, followed by poetry.  I am a published writer and poet.  I have been accompanying folks since 1990.  I completed the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius, Annotation 19, in 1989, which segued into a year called Prayer Companioning.  I also took the Ignatian Exercises training program and completed the Pacific Jubilee Program in 1993.  I’ve attended numerous workshops with such luminaries as James Finley and Maureen Conroy. I continue to offer retreats in spirituality, prayer, writing, mysticism and mystics.   I have a passion for people, for the beauty and plight of the earth, for solitude and contemplation.

Hallowed

I no longer haunt
the hallowed halls of prayer
looking for you.
You are not there

anymore than you are
to be found in earth or
sky yet in all of these
more present than our feeble
words can say, therefore in me
as well.

There is no separation,
here or there, out or in
with you.
