Writing Retreat – The “je ne sais quoi” of Poetry

~Third Annual Late Summer Writing Retreat~

The “je ne sais quoi” of Poetry*

We might have some idea about the “quoi” of a poem but what to do with the “je ne sais” part? Can we make an attempt at exploring that which pulls us in, causes the breath to catch in the throat, moves the heart into deep waters?

If this intrigues you like it does me, come for a writing retreat. We will look at a few poems by such poets as Billy Collins, Anna Akhmatova, Mary Oliver, and others. Writers in all genres are welcome.

Expect ample time for writing, meditation, reflection, and sharing ~ and an ample lunch.
